All courses are approved by professional regulatory bodies and associations across Canada for continuing education credits. The number of approval credits varies provincially. The manipulative techniques of every course are completely within the scope of practice of any manual therapist, providing information and techniques that are safe, easy to learn, and immediately applicable in clinical practice. Improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction will enhance your professional success and reputation.
HOLISTIC APPROACH TO PEDIATRICS – Manipulative Considerations for the Pediatric Patient
Is your baby colicky, constipated, not feeding or sleeping well, experiencing reflux, or having recurrent infections? Should torticollis and plagiocephaly be of concern during early infancy?
This course provides an in-depth look and exploration into structure-function relationships correlating relevant anatomy and physiology related to the above questions. There will be a specific focus on spinal curves, the autonomic nervous system, and the respiratory diaphragm with correlation to allopathic medical diagnoses.
CRANIAL TECHNIQUES & APPLICATIONS (LEVELS 1 & 2)
The cranial series will demonstrate basic and advanced manipulative techniques applied to the cranium combining elements of cranial work following the models of Dr.’s Sutherland, Upledger, and Littlejohn. There will be a specific focus on CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT.
LUMBOSACRAL & PELVIC SOFT TISSUE/ARTICULAR TECHNIQUES
This course will demonstrate lumbosacral and pelvic soft tissue assessment, and integrated treatment approaches combining MYOFASCIAL RELEASE, MUSCLE ENERGY, STRAIN-COUNTERSTRAIN, POSITIONAL RELEASE, and OSCILLATORY techniques applied to the lumbosacral and pelvic regions.
You will be introduced to integrative treatment approaches based on structural findings, in turn providing a unique perspective when treating soft tissue and articular dysfunction.
CERVICAL SOFT TISSUE/ARTICULAR TECHNIQUES
This course will demonstrate cervical spine soft tissue and articular assessment, and integrated treatment approaches combining elements of MYOFASCIAL RELEASE, MUSCLE ENERGY, STRAIN-COUNTERSTRAIN, POSITIONAL RELEASE, and OSCILLATORY techniques applied to the cervical spine.
New concepts will be introduced providing a unique perspective when treating cervical dysfunction and upper extremity pain complaints in clinical practice.
SCAPULOTHORACIC SOFT TISSUE/ARTICULAR TECHNIQUES
This course will introduce new concepts relating to manipulative techniques applied to the scapula and thoracic spine, and integrative treatment approaches based on structural findings, in turn providing a different perspective when treating scapulothoracic dysfunction.
UPPER & LOWER EXTREMITY MANIPULATIVE TECHNIQUES
